Hey, I'm Chris.
I fly, shoot, edit and run live shows out of Nashville.
Earthside Visuals is my one-man studio in Nashville. I'm an FAA Part 107 drone pilot with seven years in the air, a shooter, an editor and, three mornings a week, the guy on the live switch for Not the News. When a job needs more hands, I bring in people I trust.
I came up freelancing, flying and shooting and cutting whatever came through the door. That's turned into aerials for CBS and The Recording Academy at the 2024 GRAMMYs, member stories for the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association, and event recaps and brand films for Mercedes-Benz, Hilton, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Crayola.
Lately I've been building editing systems with AI. Not the News runs on one: agents rough-cut on the word, find the clips and draft the captions, and I make the calls and sign off on every frame. That's how one person keeps a three-day-a-week show and its reels moving.
Off the clock I'm usually on a highline, juggling or playing music. That's also why the action-sports aerials look the way they do.
